Chocolate Is the Language of Love

Chocolate Is the Language of Love

There arent too many folks (at least who we know) who don't love chocolate in all of its many iterations. Chocolate is believed by many to be an aphrodisiac, thought to produce feelings of euphoria, joy, satisfaction, happiness, and yes, even love. Raw cacao is considered to be a superfood and is loaded with minerals and antioxidants. Cacao is also laden with goodies like phenyl ethylamine, which is a chemical your body releases when you fall in love. It also possesses anandamide, known as the exercise endorphin, and tryptophan, which is the same feel-good chemical you get from eating turkey on Thanksgiving Day. All of the health benefits notwithstanding, chocolate is simply a wildly popular ingredient when it comes to treats and desserts, and nothing says, I love you quite like it. With that in mind, here are four recipes that are loaded with that delicious chocolate flavor we all know and covet, along with a healthy sprinkle of affection, from us to you.
