Gluten Free Tahini Brownies

Gluten Free Tahini Brownies

Welcome to your new favorite brownie add in - TAHINI! Tahini is a condiment made from ground toasted sesame seeds - basically a seed butter and it tastes good in so many different gluten-free recipes too! You might recognize it as a key ingredient in hummus, salad dressings, or as a drizzle on top of meat and veggies in Middle Eastern cuisine. Today were swirling it into our Tahini Brownies for a toasty-nutty bite. If youre interested in making your own tahini, you can follow the recipe on the back of our White Sesame Seed bags to make your own - you just need the sesame seeds, olive oil, and a food processor! For this recipe I used prepared tahini - look for brands like Once Again, Alexis, or Joyva. The oil often separates in prepared tahini; make sure you thoroughly mix before measuring. I truly do love our Gluten Free Brownie Mix. Its one of the incredibly easy baked goods to prepare and endlessly adaptable for those who have celiac disease or just follow a strict gluten-free diet. I almost always have eggs and butter in the refrigerator and those are the only two ingredients you need to make the basic mix! In just about 40 minutes you can have rich, fudgy brownies coming out of the oven. The addition of tahini to the brownie batter and the balanced sweet and salty tahini swirl brings these brownies to a new level. Theyre reminiscent of a chocolate-peanut butter combination but not as assertive in flavor. They are their own thing and these brownie bites are ohhh-so-good.
