large, overripe Bananas
1 cup
Natural Peanut Butter (or nut butter of choice)
Up to ¾ cup
Chocolate Chips, chopped Nuts or dried Fruit
½ tsp
Vanilla Extract
Up to ¼ cup
Maple Syrup
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8 x 8-inch baking pan and line with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, mash bananas until smooth. Add peanut butter and oats and mix well to combine. If you are using any optional additions, add them in this step.
Scrape batter into the prepared pan and spread until the top is even.
Bake until the top is golden brown and set, 20–25 minutes. Cool completely to room temperature before slicing and serving.
Store bars for up to 4 days in an airtight container at room temperature.
