Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets or line with parchment paper; set aside.
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, blend butter and brown sugar. Whisk eggs with the water and vanilla, then add to butter mixture.
Stir flour mixture into the egg and butter mixture then add cereal and all remaining ingredients and mix well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 10 - 12 minutes. Cookies should be soft in center and edges lightly brown.
