The classic flaming dessert is reimagined with Peanut Butter Homestyle Granola! Dairy free butter and ice cream can be used as well. Recipe by Tony Shasteen.
Melt butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Add brown sugar and cook until dissolved.
Add bananas and stir to coat. Carefully pour rum into the skillet. (Have a lid next to the pan to cover if needed.) Using extreme caution, light the mixture in the skillet with a long lighter. Allow flames to burn out. If they are too high, cover with the lid to extinguish.
To serve, put two scoops of ice cream in the bowl, spoon over banana mixture and top with granola.
