Bring water and salt to a boil. Slowly whisk in cereal, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 8 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 2 minutes.
Multi-Cooker
Combine 3 cups water, ½ tsp salt and 1 cup cereal in the pot of a multi-cooker. Cover and set the valve to sealing. On manual setting and high pressure, set for 2–3 minutes. Natural release the pressure for 10 minutes. Stir well and serve.
Microwave
Combine ¼ cup cereal, ¾ cup water and a pinch of salt in a microwave safe bowl. Stir well. Microwave on high for 1–2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let stand for 2 minutes. Makes 1 serving.
