Our creamy brown rice cereal, also known as brown rice farina, is freshly milled from the finest whole grain brown rice. The mild, nutty flavor of this wholesome whole grain breakfast porridge pairs well with both sweet and savory toppings.
Bring water and salt to a boil. Slowly whisk in cereal, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, whisking frequently, for 8 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 2 minutes.
Stovetop: 1 serving
Bring ¾ cup water to a boil. Add ¼ cup Creamy Brown Rice Farina and a pinch of salt, reduce heat and let cook to desired consistency, 5–8 minutes. Yields about ⅔ cup. Serves 1.
Microwave: 1 serving
Combine ¼ cup cereal, 1 cup water and a pinch of salt in a microwave safe bowl. Stir well. Microwave on high for 30 second intervals, stirring after each, until water is fully absorbed. Let stand for 2 minutes.
Slow Cooker: 4 servings
Combine 3 cups water, ½ tsp salt and 1 cup cereal in a slow cooker. Stir well. Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours or high for 1–2 hours. Stir well and serve.
