Traditional Pearl Couscous is a quick and easy solution for dinner! Couscous is so simple to prepare and it's ready to eat in about 15 minutes. Couscous is essentially small ball-shaped pasta, so try it as an alternative to pasta, a base for a cold pasta salad or as a side dish with dinner. Make it your own by adding veggies, spices and sauces to your liking. Try cooking a large batch early in the week and include couscous in your meal prep and planning.
If desired, toast couscous in 1 tablespoon butter or oil for 3–5 minutes over medium heat before cooking. Bring water to a boil. Add couscous and salt. Return to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer, cover and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain off any remaining water.
