Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Bulgur
  • 1/4 cup Brown Flaxseeds or Organic Brown Flaxseeds
  • 1/3 cup Onion minced
  • 1 Tomato small sized, diced
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Italian Herb Seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add bulgur, flaxseed and onions. Stir until bulgur is golden brown, about 3 minutes.
  2. Stir in tomato, chicken broth, salt and Italian seasonings. Cover, bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer approximately 15 minutes or until all the broth is absorbed. Fluff Pilaf with fork. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
