These Butterscotch Pecan Squares are a simple and delicious treat featuring our Organic Creamy Wheat Farina, butterscotch chips and crunchy pecans. A sweet little treat that everyone will love!
Preheat oven to 350°F. Using a stand up mixer or electric beaters on medium speed, beat butter and sugar until creamy.
Add in eggs and vanilla, scraping the bowl as needed to incorporate.
In a small bowl, combine flour, cereal, baking powder and salt and mix to combine.
Add dry mixture to butter/egg mixture. Stir until moistened, then add nuts and butterscotch chips.
Spread batter into a greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan on a wire rack and then cut into squares. Dust with powdered sugar if preferred.
