Cheesecake Brownie Bars

This rich brownies are made with our incredible Fudgy Brownie Mix and topped with a layer of luscious cheesecake drizzled with sweet caramel sauce. The perfect extra-special everyday dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs
  • ½ cup Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Water
  • 1 package Fudgy Brownie Mix
  • 8 oz full-fat Cream Cheese, softened
  • 3 Tbsp Sour Cream
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg, room temperature
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 Tbsp Caramel Sauce, store-bought or homemade

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overhang.
  2. In a large mixing bowl whisk together eggs, oil and water until well combined. Add the brownie mix and stir until the batter just comes together. Do not overmix.
  3. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
  4. As the brownies bake, prepare the cream cheese layer. Beat together cream cheese, sour cream and sugar until well combined. Add egg, vanilla and salt. Beat until smooth.
  5. Pour cream cheese mixture over the baked brownie layer and add dollops of caramel sauce. Swirl in the caramel using a butter knife.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes, until cheesecake layer is firm but with a slight jiggle in the center. Let stand 15 minutes at room temperature before refrigerating until fully set. Once the bars have set, slice and enjoy!
