Cranberries
fresh or frozen, reserve 1/2 cup and set aside
Place cranberries (minus reserved 1/2 cup), sugar, orange zest and water in a small pot. Cook over low heat until the sugar dissolves, about 10 minutes.
Increase heat to medium, add the chia seeds and cook until the berries burst, about another 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and add the remaining berries. Let cool slightly; serve at any temperature.
