Cinnamon Bun Popcorn

Two of our favorite things--sweet, spicy cinnamon rolls and warm, crispy popcorn--are combined with Cinnamon Bun Popcorn! Use this easy-to-make Cinnamon Bun Popcorn topping to create a delicious treat for your next movie night. Pair with our White or Yellow Popcorn!

Stove Top
  1. Place coconut oil in a large pot with a tight-fitting lid. Place over medium-high heat to melt coconut oil.
  2. Once coconut oil has melted, add popcorn kernels. Cover with lid and let heat, shaking periodically. Once popcorn begins to pop, shake frequently. Remove from heat when there are more than 3 seconds between pops.
  3. Meanwhile, combine protein powder, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla in a small bowl. When popcorn has been removed from heat, add about half of the spice mixture and toss thoroughly before serving. Store the remaining spice mixture in an airtight container.
Air Popper
  1. Pop popcorn in air popper following manufacturer’s instructions. Meanwhile, combine protein powder, sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, and melt coconut oil and vanilla in the microwave or in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Drizzle coconut oil over popped popcorn. Add about half of the spice mixture and toss thoroughly before serving. Store the remaining spice mixture in an airtight container.
