Grain Free Slider Buns with Thanksgiving Variation

Somehow, sliders are just more fun than large sandwiches—not only are they cute, but they can be filled with a myriad of ingredients! These grain free slider buns are made with our Grain Free Flatbread Mix.

Ingredients

Slider Buns
  • 1 package Grain Free Flatbread Mix (200 g)
  • 2 Eggs (100 g)
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil (60 mL)
  • ¼ cup Water (60 mL)
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds (9 g)
Thanksgiving Leftover Sliders
  • 2 Tbsp Whole-Grain Mustard
  • ½ cup Gravy, warm
  • 1 cup mashed Cauliflower (or Potatoes)
  • 2 cups thinly sliced or chopped Roast Turkey
  • ¼ cup Cranberry Sauce

Instructions

Slider Buns
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Oil a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
  2. Combine flatbread mix, eggs, olive oil and water and mix thoroughly. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Use about 3 tablespoons dough per slider bun and, using slightly wet hands, shape into 2 ½-inch wide buns. Space 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  4. Bake until golden-brown, 10-12 minutes. Let cool completely before slicing and serving.
Thanksgiving Leftover Sliders
  1. Toss sliced or chopped turkey with warm gravy. Slice slider buns in half horizontally.
  2. Spread the bottom of each bun with whole-grain mustard. Top with mashed cauliflower or mashed potatoes, turkey/gravy mixture, and top with cranberry sauce. Serve immediately.
