This cheesy, tangy cornbread is a delicious hit any time of the day! Made with our Golden Cornbread Mix, it's simple to make and made with the best ingredients like stone ground cornmeal and our expert blend of premium flours. Note: For a little extra heat, substitute pickled jalapenos for the green chiles.
7–8 oz
canned diced Green Chiles
(225 g) (may use one 7 oz can or two 4 oz cans)
1 ¼ cups
Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8 x 8-inch square pan or 9-inch cast iron pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine the eggs and water, beat until well blended. Add cornbread mix, butter, chiles and cheese. Stir until just combined. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake at 350°F for 35–45 minutes, until a tester inserted in the middle comes out clean. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
