Super Bread

I created this recipe to try & get my teen boys to eat healthier. They insist it makes the best sandwiches & they never ask for white bread anymore. This recipe was not tested by Bob's Red Mill. High Fiber, Lactose Free, Low Fat, Low Sugar, Soy Free.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients in order to your bread machine and bake on whole wheat, medium crust. Or....
  2. Soften yeast in warm water.
  3. Add flax oil, salt, chia seed, flaxseed meal, wheat germ, oat bran and honey.
  4. Mix the whole wheat flour and the gluten flour. Add one cup at a time to the wet mix. Turn out and knead till elastic.
  5. Let rise until doubled. Punch down, shape and put in greased loaf pan.
  6. Let rise again until nearly doubled.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 50-60 minutes, or until the bottom sounds hollow when tapped. Let cool before slicing.



    Makes 14 servings.
