These delightful chocolate chip cookies are made with whole wheat flour, lending a nutty flavor and slightly darker color. Enjoy with a glass of cold milk!
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, followed by vanilla extract, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed. Add dry ingredients and mix until combined, then stir in chocolate chips.
Scoop about 2 tablespoons per cookie and place on a prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches between each cookie.
Bake until set and lightly browned around the edges, about 11-12 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool.
