Share a Recipe & Help Meals on Wheels Feed Vulnerable Seniors
At Bob’s Red Mill, we know a meal is more than a collection of ingredients, more than a checklist of nutrients. Sharing a meal together doesn’t just feed the body; it nourishes the soul and strengthens the bonds of all who gather around the table—even if it’s over Zoom.
That's why we’ve partnered with Meals on Wheels for our Don’t Stop Baking contest. For more than six decades, Meals on Wheels has provided meals and connection to vulnerable seniors across the country. But did you know that since the outbreak of COVID-19, meal requests have more than doubled? Today, they're serving an average of 77% more meals and 47% more seniors than they were March 1.
Submit one of your favorite family recipes by October 12, 2020 for your chance to win and help Meals on Wheels.
Prizes Include:
We’ll randomly choose three winners who will each receive:
- A Bob’s Red Mill product prize package
- A $500 Visa gift card
- A $5000 donation to the Meals on Wheels COVID-19 Response Fund in their honor
This contest is part of Don’t Stop Now, Meals on Wheels America’s campaign to support the most at-risk populations during the COVID-19 pandemic and the millions of homebound seniors sheltering in place.

Butterscotch Brownies
Susan L. — CaliforniaI learned to make these butterscotch brownies in high school, and they have always been a favorite comfort food. Over the years, I have upgraded them with whole wheat flour and a little sea salt. They are loved by my son and many friends. And so easy to put together!
Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies
Denise C. — CaliforniaJust made gluten free chocolate chip cookies using Bob’s Red Mills gluten free flour, for my son who went away to boarding school this year to play hockey. So I wanted to send him something that made him feel not so far away and also let him know how much he’s loved.
Frito Pie
Mary A. — CaliforniaMy Dad years ago in the 1970's would make this for our families. About five years ago, he gave me the "family recipe" before he passed. Means the world to our family!
