In a large bowl add in the water, salt, olive oil, honey, yeast and whole wheat flour and mix completely with a spoon.
Place the dough on to a clean surface and knead for 3-4 minutes.
Take the dough and place it into a large bowl. Cover with a towel and let it rest until it has doubled in size, 40-60 minutes.
Once it has doubled in size, place it onto a pizza peel that has been lightly dusted with cornmeal, and form the dough to make a large pizza dough crust by stretching and pulling it.
Add on the pizza sauce making sure to leave a ¼” to ½” inch around the outside for the crust. Evenly sprinkle on the cheese and then the Canadian bacon and pineapple.
Bake it in the oven on a pizza stone or sheet tray for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown on the outside and the cheese is melted.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice and serve hot.
